Marmalade & Oat began with two orange-and-white cats and a familiar call: “méo meo.”
That was how I called to them. One often lay close beside me — a small, everyday moment I still miss.
Both passed away while I was abroad. I couldn’t be there to care for them in their final days.
The idea for Marmalade & Oat grew from missing that closeness: a familiar face, remembered in something I could hold.
Through woven pet portraits, I hope to give others a personal way to keep those memories close. I also want to make room for their stories — the little habits, the happy moments, and the things they still miss.
Marmalade & Oat began with my two cats. My hope is that it helps others feel heard as they remember the pets they love.
